Photography

I picked up a Brownie Starmite as a little girl and had a camera nearby since then, going from film to digital to the iPhone.  A member of the Katonah Museum Artists Association, I participated in numerous group shows, I’ve curated several solo exhibitions, and received many prizes including the Westchester Land Trust, 2006, 2nd Prize and Westchester Women’s Club Beaux Arts Finale First Prize, Spring 2005. As a photographer I try to capture the beauty and essence of our world and my community. One of my favorite sayings is, “There is beauty in imperfection.” I want to show how extraordinarily beautiful simple things can be.”
